Born and educated in South Africa, George Willis was an agency art director before turning his talents towards cinematography. He has shot around the world, in the air, underwater, in sub-zero climates and in exotic locations. George's style is elegant and classic.

With an affinity for gadgetry, George has designed and built his own camera rigs, special effects rigs, dollies, and other necessary gadgets required for special projects. He loves technical and creative challenges and possesses an unlimited patience for finite details and in-camera FX. He is a technical innovator with the eye of an artist.

Over the years, George's Director/Cameraman work has won numerous awards including Clios with special recognition for Cinematography, Bessies and at the New York and South African Film & TV festivals.

George's film credits include 2nd Unit Director/Cameraman for the underwater title sequences in "Superstar", a feature film directed by Bruce McCullough for Paramount Pictures and a docudrama entitled "The Ancient Olympics: Let the Games Begin" which garnered a CSC Best Cinematography nomination. He also lensed the short film "The Final", which won Gold at the Houston Film Festival, Best of Show at the Flagstaff Film Festival in Phoenix and "finalist" at several other Film Festivals around the US. Most recently, he shot "The Real James Bond 007" which aired on US television.
